My family and I went on a ghost town trip over the weekend. We only had two days, but we sure covered a lot of ground! We visited the towns of Bay Horse, Custer, Bonanza, Placerville, Pioneerville, Idaho City, Silver City and one other unknown town...we believe it was either DeLamar, Wagontown or Dewey. We drove lots of miles and had SOOOO much fun!
This was an old building at Bayhorse.
We got to see a lot of old graves, as most of the towns we visited had cemeteries nearby. This picture is of an unknown grave. I had a lot of fun taking pictures of the old graves.
The trip made me realize that it's a shame Richfield hasn't preserved its history a little better...
